Our online store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform through which we sell our products.

Akanya currently ships across India.

Dispatch

For products marked as ready to ship, orders are generally dispatched within 1 working day after the order is successfully placed.

Certain products may be made to order. Where applicable, the relevant product page will specify the additional production time.

Made-to-order garments generally require 1 additional day of production after the order is placed.

Delivery

Orders are generally delivered within 3–5 days after dispatch, subject to the delivery location and logistics conditions.

Delivery timelines may occasionally be affected by:

  • Regional restrictions
  • Public holidays
  • Natural disasters
  • Operational disruptions
  • Other circumstances beyond Akanya's reasonable control

Shipping charges

Free shipping is available across India, subject to the terms displayed at checkout.

SECTION 8 — PARTIAL CASH ON DELIVERY

Akanya offers Partial Cash on Delivery (COD) on eligible orders.

Under our partial COD system:

10% of the order value is paid online at the time of placing the order, and the remaining 90% is payable through COD upon delivery.

Availability of COD may depend on the customer's location, order value, product or other operational factors.

Akanya reserves the right to restrict COD availability for certain orders.

SECTION 9 — RETURNS

Customers may request a return within 3 days of delivery.

The return request must be submitted within the applicable return period.

Akanya will process eligible returns in accordance with the Return Policy published on the Website.

Sale products

Sale products are not eligible for return.

Customers should carefully check product details, size information and applicable product-specific policies before purchasing sale products.

Return shipping

For eligible returns, Akanya will bear the applicable return shipping cost, subject to the conditions stated in the Return Policy.

SECTION 10 — EXCHANGES

Customers may request an exchange within 7 days of delivery.

₹750–₹799 Corporate Edit

Products from the ₹750–₹799 Corporate Edit are eligible for exchange, subject to the applicable Exchange Policy.

Festive Collection

Eligible festive products priced between ₹2,500 and ₹4,000 are eligible for returns and exchanges, subject to the applicable policy.

Sale products

Sale products are not eligible for return and are subject to the applicable exchange conditions stated on the Website.

SECTION 11 — CUSTOM SIZING

Akanya offers custom sizing on eligible products.

Custom sizing is available on Akanya products except sale products.

Customers requesting custom sizing are responsible for providing accurate measurements and information.

Because custom-sized garments are produced according to customer-provided measurements, the applicable return/exchange conditions for custom-sized products will be governed by the specific policy displayed at the time of purchase.
